Honey Glazed Turnips

Ingredients
2 pounds
Turnip roots
1 1/4 cups
Water
2 tablespoons
Butter
1 tablespoon
Honey
1/2 teaspoon
Salt
Step by Step Instructions
- Cut the turnips into 1/2 inch pieces. Put the pieces into a heavy-bottomed skillet with the water.
- Add the butter, honey, and salt to the skillet, cover with a lid, then boil over medium-high heat.
- Cook covered, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes
- Remove the lid and let cook for 13 more minutes, then once golden, serve warm.
